PRO A: SPO Rouen Takes Victory

                                                  SPO Rouen      VS.          Hyeres-Toulon

SPO Rouen and my dad, Eric Chatfield, sealed the deal for another chance to stay in the PRO A league after defeating Hyeres-Toulon 88-67. At the start of the game, SPO gained early confidence when their center, Deji Akindele, had three outstanding dunks in less than four minutes. They continued to play as a team, with their point guard, Shawnta Rogers, pushing the ball up the court making a quick move and dishing it to the upon man for an easy bucket. Rogers finished the game with 12 assists. My dad played a huge role to team also, giving them 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. He was 67.9% from the field, making 18 out of 30 baskets. He created easy shots for both himself and his teammates; and in times when he was heavily guarded, he still managed to make it look easy. If there was an award for "Jordan Player of the Game" I'd have to give it to my dad. Let's just say, SPO Rouen showed up today.
