14U AAU Division 1 Nationals

In about a week and a half, my team and I will be traveling to Orlando, Florida to play in the most known basketball tournaments in the United States, AAU Nationals. We'll be in Orlando for the national tournament for a week and an extra three day because we were invited to the "Showcase Event". This invitation-only is considered one of the premiere college recruiting events in the country and will be broadcasting on ESPN. Only the top thirty-two teams are invited and the fact that we too were asked to attend is a dream come true. Chances like this don't come very often, especially considering that more than 300 college coaches will be there watching. As my parents have told me many times before, it's all up to me on how I play and as far as I know, it's all mental with me. Once I get over my obstacles mentally, I know I'll be fine and play my game with no worries. I'm really looking forward to in the AAU Nationals this year; after-all the last time I played in this tournament was over two years ago and we received 8th place. Now, I plan on finishing the tournament with first place and a scholarship to my preferred school. It's all up to me, and even though it may be a difficult challenge, I know deep inside my team and I can do it.
