The Road Starts Here...

In two days, I'll finally be going back to the states. This year is probably one of my most important years, basketball wise, because this is my last chance to show the world who I am and what I'm capable of doing on the court. Luckily, because of the two great role-models I have as parents, I have everything I need to become a great basketball player and it's in my hands to take this opportunity an turn it into reality. Ever since my team and I lost in the semi-finals, I've been searching for an AAU team that I can play for when I get back home to the states. Both my mom and my dad make a bunch of phone calls until finally we found a team that may be interested. We're still trying to figure out whats going with that situation, but I'm sure we'll figure it all out soon. Other than that, I've been looking forward to finally coming home. I can't to see my friends and family and tell that about what a great time I've had here in France. The moment I land in the United States, the clock starts ticking for me and the time I have to make a name for myself. And of course, the level of play in US is much higher than in France which is why I have to work to times harder I want to be ready for the competition at home. The more I think about playing in the upcoming tournaments, the more excited I get about coming back to Atlanta. It's only a matter of time before I'm on the plane home, and I'm excited to get back on the court with my new team.
